Introducing Our President

Jim Sigler




Jim Sigler was born in Southern California, moving to Visalia from Huntington Beach in 1994. Jim worked in the trucking industry for 45 years. Jim served as a senior executive for Condor Freight Lines, Atlas Freight Lines and Guaranteed Overnight Delivery. He founded Central California Cartage Company in 2004 operating it for 20 years until retirement. He was active in economic development for the “Valley” and has been responsible for several large companies relocating their logistics operations to the San Joaquin Valley. Jim was active in several industry associations including The American Trucking Association serving as President of the Sales and Marketing Council and The California Trucking Association serving in various leadership positions.


Jim is a Baseball Coach, coaching for over 40 years, focusing on upper age level teams. Most recently he is coaching at Golden West High School, currently as the Head Freshman Coach. He has coached at other levels at Golden West over the last 20 years.


Jim has been married to Julia for 39 years. They have 2 children: Jennifer, 36, and JJ, 35. They also have 2 dogs Bandit and Brie. He enjoys spectator sports of all kinds as well as golf, fishing, camping, music and goofing off.  He has been a member of VCC Rotary Since 2007 serving as a board member for many years.
